Mary Fox Pottery

Creating beautiful vessels for people to use or contemplate is a thoroughly enjoyable way to spend one’s life. Over the past two decades, I have focused on creating beautiful forms with simple lines and subtle methods of glazing them. I have been potting since I was 13 and have yet to grow tired of any aspect of my job. I love going into my studio every day full of energy and inspiration to create anew. Mugs, bowls, jugs, casseroles…I make them all in a variety of solid colours designed with the user in mind.
Although I do enjoy creating work for people to use, the majority of my work is designed with contemplation in mind. I exhibit regularly, nationally and internationally, so when you come to my studio and Gallery you will see all sorts of works in process.
I am happy to have the public visit my studio and Gallery to view my work. I am prolific so there is always a large selection of both the functional and the decorative works to choose from. I walk my dog in the morning so if you want to catch me then it is best to give me a heads up.
